Dolly Parton, the iconic country music legend, has added another remarkable achievement to her already impressive list of accomplishments by breaking three new Guinness World Records. During a special event held in Nashville, Tennessee, the renowned authority on record-breaking presented Parton with these prestigious titles in recognition of her extraordinary career.

The first record she received is for the most studio albums released by a female country singer, totaling an impressive 65 albums. From her debut album "Hello, I'm Dolly" in 1968 to her latest release "Run, Rose, Run" in 2022, Parton's music has captivated audiences for decades.

Parton also set a record for the longest time span between No. 1 hits on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart for a female artist, which stands at an astonishing 43 years and 156 days. Her first chart-topping hit, "New Harvest... First Gathering," claimed the number one spot in May 1977, while her most recent hit, "A Holly Dolly Christmas," reached the same pinnacle in October 2020.

In addition, Parton secured the record for the most Top 10 entries on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart by a female artist, with an impressive tally of 48. Her album "Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection" debuted at number four in December, marking her 48th entry in the Top 10.

The adjudicator, Michael Empric, who presented the records to Dolly Parton, expressed his admiration, stating, "Celebrating the longevity and success of Dolly Parton's remarkable career with three more Guinness World Records titles was incredible. Her other notable records include the most decades with a Top 20 hit on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart (6), the most No. 1 hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by a female artist (25), the most decades on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by a female artist (7), the most hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by a female artist (109), the longest span of No. 1 hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart (35 years, 26 days), being the first country singer to be nominated for the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards), and the most Grammy nominations for a female country artist (51).
